Pierre Couvillion - Director and Founder, Ayurveda Practitioner
Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500, NAMA Certified Ayurveda Practitioner, NCBTMB Board Certified Bodywork and Massage Therapist, Sanskrit and Yoga Philosophy Teacher. Pierre is the founder and director of Santosha School. He began training in natural health care in 1992, working full time in the field in 2000; and has instructed at more than 100 schools in the US, Mexico and Canada, including the Ayurvedic Institute.
He holds certifications in: Ayurveda, Yang style T'ai Chi Ch'uan, Ashtanga Yoga, Synergy (Hot) Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Viniyoga, Craniosacral Therapy, Ayurveda Massage, Acupressure (Marma), Barefoot Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Tui Na, Sanskrit, and is a devotee of the Self-Realization Fellowship of Paramahansa Yogananda. Pierre also teaches Sanskrit and helps students develop a personal connection to texts like the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita.

Pierre does his very best to make spiritual living, which can seem difficult and esoteric, instead become simple, loving and practical. He is working to create a 4 year degree in natural health care so that young people may some day have a real profession in it.
Pierre meets the established requirements for education and experience and is registered with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, the Yoga Alliance, and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, the national organizations for these health disciplines. Shiela Dimof - Lead Yoga Teacher Trainer, Massage Therapist, Ayurveda Panchakarma Therapist, Yoga RYT500, E-RYT500, NCBTMB, CMT
Shiela has found a special home at Santosha as a yoga teacher and massage therapist. She draws from her background of living at a meditation retreat center, training in bodywork, and her fascination with Ayurveda. Her classes carry a nurturing, gentle and joyful feeling.
Jo Robinson - Guidance Counselor, Mentor Teacher, Yoga RYT500, E-RYT200
Jo’s zeal for yoga is matched by her passion for music, cats and sharing laughter with family and friends. When she met Pierre and began practicing at Santosha, Jo knew she had found her spiritual home. “It’s never too late to follow your heart and dreams”. She has done just that in becoming a yoga instructor at 57 and delights in being a loving den mother to the teacher trainees.
Kathy Mickel - Academic Dean, Teacher Teacher, Yoga RYT500, E-RYT200
Kathy brings decades of experience in personal development, and a career in the development of others, to her role as the school's academic dean and Teacher Trainer. She is also a devoted student of Paramansa Yogananda and a yoga instructor. She finds joy in the inner practices of yoga and brings those practices to her classes, retreats and life.
Kelsey Morgan - Marketing Director, Mentor Teacher, Yoga RYT200, 500 in training
Kelsey's path to yoga began as a way to round out her athletic routine. She soon noticed the peace yoga brought to her mind. Kelsey enjoys kindling a flame for yoga with her young daughter and the other children with whom she works. She teaches a physical yoga class that is light and playful
Keri Jeter - Yoga Teacher RYT200, 500 in training
Keri was introduced to yoga many years ago as a treatment for her asthma symptoms and was instantly hooked. Keri maintained a home practice with her daughter, but combined her love of traveling and yoga together as often as possible. On a trip with Belizeyoga in 2012, Keri was inspired to find a yoga teacher training course at home. Keri was thrilled when a friend introduced her to Santosha School and Pierre - the depth of training and inviting studio space was exactly what she was hoping for. Keri has a big love for people, and looks forward to sharing her practice with youth in Indianapolis Public Schools.
Grace Meils - Yoga Teacher RYT200, 500 in training
Grace made the journey back to her native city of Indianapolis after many years on the West Coast, but it wasn’t until she discovered yoga at Santosha that she really found her way home. She was a regular student at the school for quite a while before deciding it was time to become a teacher herself to share the practice she loves so dearly with others. When she’s not at Santosha, Grace can most likely be found walking on the canal, attempting to keep clay pots on center in ceramics class, taking pictures of flowers in the gardens at the IMA, or trying to identify the Ayurvedic dosha of various animals.
Nina Leung - Yoga Teacher RYT200, 500 in training
Nina is thankful that yoga and meditation have helped her relax, play, feel and heal since 2009. She practices in living rooms, offices, parks, beaches, and at Santosha! She loves sharing this wonderful practice of internal exploration.
Molly Moore - Yoga Teacher RYT200, 500 in training
Molly developed her love for yoga while serving in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua. Through practicing with her fellow Peace Corps volunteers, she found the community of yoga. Since coming back she continued her practice and eventually found Santosha, a community to which she truly felt drawn. She is looking forward to teaching and sharing the love, peace, and wellness (both mental and physical) she has benefited from keeping a regular practice.
Tanisha Neely - Yoga Teacher RYT200
Tanisha is a passionate yogini with a peaceful and playful heart. She is a San Diego native and has practiced yoga since her youth, feeling its healing power through life. Tanisha runs Resilient Yoga in Indy, which brings yoga to underserved populations. She is happy to share her practice with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Audra Myers - Yoga Teacher RYT200, 500 in training
Audra was drawn to yoga after college as a way to strengthen her body. Santosha helped her recognize herself and the unity of mind, body, and soul. “Knowing yourself is the begging of all wisdom.” Through the love and support she found at Santosha, Audra felt empowered to share her practice.
Tammy Rogers - Yoga Teacher RYT200, R.Ph.
Tammy began yoga as another way to strengthen her body, until a friend gave her "The Heart of Yoga.” After discovering that yoga is much more than the asanas, Tammy's passion and curiosity for the practice took off. Reading books was no longer enough, enrolling in teacher training for deeper learning (philosophy, Sanskrit, meditation, chanting) was what she had been searching for. She is excited about sharing this wonderful practice of yoga with others, especially when new people come to class. (Hugs are always free)
Nicolette Serrao - Yoga Teacher RYT200
Nicolette was introduced to yoga at the age of 2 by her inspiring aunt. She has continued to practice yoga with family and friends ever since. As a New Mexico native, she finds her happiness in the sunshine and outdoors. She hopes to teach yoga from mountain tops all over the world.
Melissa Moran - Yoga Teacher RYT200, 500 in training
Melissa first began yoga as a way to relieve the stresses of a hectic life. Following several years of regular practice at Santosha, she is now continuing her yoga learning through the teacher training program. Melissa enjoys the welcoming community at Santosha, and looks forward to sharing her love of the practice as she begins to teach.
Blythe Potter - Yoga Teacher RYT200, BAS, LE, CMT, BCTMB, 500 in training
Blythe was first introduced to yoga by her favorite English teacher in high school whom she continues to be inspired by today. She learned to lead a basic yoga flow while studying dance at Ball State University but realized that her previous training and practice was insufficient during her first level one class Santosha. Captivated by the lifestyle and educational opportunities at Santosha School, she needed this curriculum to be a part of her personal and professional life.
Beka Church - Yoga Teacher RYT200
After nearly a year of weekly treatment for continuous back pain, Beka’s chiropractor recommended yoga for alignment. Through working closely with the teachers and the Santosha community on a regular basis, she decided it was time to make yoga a bigger part of her life and become a teacher. Beka brings her love of life, nature, animals, people and her desire to make all beings feel good to her simple, relaxed classes.
Andrea Pamphilis - Yoga Teacher RYT200
Andrea has always been involved in health and fitness. With a degree in Kinesiology, a minor in nutrition, and 5 certifications, she has worked as a health coach and personal trainer since 2002. Her love for alternative therapies started as she searched for answers for her own health. Andrea fell in love with the self-gardening techniques of Ayurveda and the awareness and peace that yoga and meditation brought her. She is excited to share her knowledge with others, so they too can have an improved sense of self.
Heidi Klein - Yoga Teacher RYT200, D.Chiro.
Heidi brings her knowledge and heart from her chiropractic practice to the mat. She feels strongly that practicing the Santosha foundational flow is an essential link for wellness as is breath work, meditation, and tending ones personal garden. Heidi has experienced her own healing through the Santosha foundational flow, she shares her joy in that with those who attend her class tending their own wellness. The path to optimal health is what we do/eat/think everyday. Come grow with us physically, nutritionally, and emotionally. Wherever you are the community at Santosha is here to support you.
Allie Jeffs - Yoga Teacher Trainee
Allie started practicing yoga right after college as a way to be active. From the beginning she was curious about the spiritual aspects of yoga. Fast-forward to 2016 at a yoga festival in Hawaii: She had a transformational meditation experience that tapped into her energetic layer, and it left her wanting more. After coming home to Indianapolis, she was led to Santosha for meditation and found the teacher training as the next step on her personal growth journey. She enjoys using meditation and chanting to connect with the Divine and is excited to see where this education will lead!
Simon Dehainault - Yoga Teacher Trainee
Simon came to Santosha teacher training as an exploration of a spiritual path, and to find his voice. He is looking forward to seeing where it leads.
Thomas Leitke - Yoga Teacher Trainee
Thomas found a connection to yoga as a religious studies major at IU Bloomington in 2003. After university he wandered around Asia living simply from a backpack for 10 years. He used his body extensively working on farms, living in labor-intensive Buddhist temples and mountain climbing. Yoga was a key support for his health when he faced physical challenges. Yoga practice continues to be a necessary spiritual relief for Thomas as the unknown future puts pressure on his mind. He currently runs a furniture moving company with his brother.
Daryl Roberts - Yoga Teacher Trainee
Daryl was introduced to yoga in 2016 and quickly became enamored with all it has to offer. He continues to grow in his journey, and is now learning how to share the yoga practices, and the inner blessings they can unlock.
