Bodywork and Massage Classes

We currently offer these classes as on alternate Wednesday nights.  They are included in our class packs.

THAI MASSAGE

Thorough and all-encompassing.  Wear loose cotton clothes.  Rhythmic compressions, pressure points, and facilitated stretching using the postures of yoga.

SHIATSU / BAREFOOT SHIATSU

Deep and transformative.  Wear loose cotton clothes.  Broad general compressions, specific deep pressure points, and bio-energetic balancing.

OIL MASSAGE

Oily is the opposite of dry.  Most of the year, we are each drying out.  Rejuvenating to the soft tissues, nourishing to the nervous system, relaxing and relieving.

AYURVEDIC OILS AND BODY TYPES

The skin is the largest organ, and we take in through the skin.  "For whom and when" is something healthy, are among the first questions in health care.  Use oils appropriate to body type, and techniques appropriate to body type.

MARMA POINTS / ACUPRESSURE

Learn the bio-electric grid of the body.  Long holding at specific points on the body.  Deeply, deeply relaxing.
