Daily Drop-In Classes

~ just come on in, all of these classes are covered under your class packs !

  • Yoga: Santosha foundation flow (level 1)  is our basic flowing class with great alignment instruction, foundation yoga postures and simple breathing techniques.  Excellent for anyone focusing on the basics, seeking rejuvenation, and for beginners.  We physically adjust students who would like that help, once we know you. (See video of full level one class below.)

  • Yoga: Santosha athletic flow (level 2)   is our moderately paced flowing class.  Class includes alignment instructions, adjustments, sun salutations, inversions, and posture modifications for those in need.  Expect to sweat.  We physically adjust students who would like that help, once we know you.

  • Yoga: Santosha dynamic flow (level 3)   is longer to allow for the body to warm up, and includes deeper versions of postures.  Students with yoga experience who know how to modify postures are welcome, please don't be intimidated.

  • Yoga: $5 all-levels  is our basic flowing level 1 class with the instructor teaching mostly by example, a follow-the-teacher style class.  

  • Heated Yoga   is like a sweat lodge or sauna, with yoga! Primarily for challenging the chemistry of the body and clearing impurities, while also allowing for deeper postures.  Our hot yoga classes are around 90 degrees and include assisting and teaching instructions to individual needs.  We take a break from heated classes during the summer months.

  • Yoga Lab  includes a brief warm-up followed by exploring a small group of similar postures - floor backbends, for example.  This is the class to ask questions, see demonstrations, receive adjustments, learn modifications for your body, learn the key actions and key alignment principles.   Please note yoga lab is 2 credits (or free with monthly unlimited).

  • Yoga Therapeutics   class is for everyone.  This is an opportunity for students to bring individual needs and have a teacher adapt the tools of yoga to you.

  • Yoga + ayurveda self-care  class is relaxing yoga for the first half, with learning of treatments like self-oil massage in the second half.

  •  Breathing   class is 30 minutes.  We practice 8-10 standard breathing techniques, with instruction, and include moments of silence in between. 

  • Meditation   classes are 30 minutes - 1 hour.  We begin with a guided chant or breath-oriented meditation technique, then silence for a period,  another chant or technique, again silence.  Beginners are welcome, and we have chairs for those who prefer sitting in a chair - make sure you are comfortable.

  • Bodywork and functional anatomy is our introduction to different massage styles.  Class is hands on - you can come alone or with a partner.  Styles include: thai massage, shiatsu, barefoot shiatsu, ayurveda oils, marma, acupressure, craniosacral therapy.

  • Non-violent communication is our introduction to the work of Marshall Rosenberg.  The class is interactive, with at least one practice session of using the 4 step toolset: I observe, I feel, I need, I request.
